Just try and get your new license in September.
You will pay the fine, plus intrust and penalty.
You can’t become the law if your breaking the law.
This is the computer age. Government and police share info.
Just because your wife is in the Navy, doesn’t exempt you.
I think you can kiss that police academy good-by.
and from your spelling, I’d sure hate you to write me a ticket.
You better join the Navy with her, but the fine still stands. They
have background checks also, so you can forget that also.
You can join the French Foreign Legion, and they will even
give you a new identity. . pay the fine.

No they cannot take your NY state DL. Yes there may be a warrant depending on how redneck IL is. In CA I had outstanding tickets and they told me no warrants but no DL again in there state unless I paid up. In AR you would have a bench warrant. But no state extradites over traffic tickets. You will have to pay probably before you can become a cop.

Your best bet is to call em!!!!!
I learned my lesson 5 years ago when I got a ticket for somebody elses tags being out of date, I got the ticket and thought since it wasnt my car I wasnt at all responsible for the ticket……Well, 2 years later and right after Id put out 600.00 for new fuel injection, my car was gone!!!!!! i didnt know theyd suspended my license for not showing up in court.
In California, people have to not only pay the amount of the ticket, but along with it comes a 210% penalty, and other little fun stuff they like to add on….
Call traffic court and find out if its going to cause a problem or not…..dont let it go and be sorry!!!

Oh yeah , I forgot to mention, here in Los Angeles, when they take your car for driving on a suspended license or a failure to appear, they impound it for a minimum of 30 days….By the time youre able to get your car back, it costs so much you may as well just go buy another vehicle….

I suggest you contact the county court in IL and find out what happened to your ticket. Its better to be safer than sorry. You can still get in trouble for that 10 years from now.

If your background check is around the corner, I suggest you fess up because if you lie about anything it will be negatively reflected on your report and could ruin you chances of becoming an officer.

Call first thing in the morning…

you won’t like the answer, your lisence is probably already suspended since the two states are connected through records, some states are not, and the penalties on the ticket are probablt up to about $250 by now. plus with a FTA (failure to appear) you will get points.

Likely to be a warrant out. Maybe they didn’t have your new address. Some items cannot be forwarded. I hope that they just forgot about it, though! Probably should have just paid the ticket!!

Review by Jason for Web Traffic Magnet: 55 Free Things You Can Do To Drive Traffic To Your Website (Volume 1) Rating: I got Web Traffic Magnet because it was a small enough book for me to get through with my busy schedule. I was hoping to get a few things out of it but little did I know that the tips inside would be so easy to implement and make such a difference. Every one of them had impact.

For example, on page 25 & 26 the author, Liam Scanlan, provides six simple tips to improve page titles such as putting the most important keywords words first. When I went back and looked at my site, I found areas I could optimize by just changing the order or wording. Every one of his tips are like that and they do make a difference in how people find you on the web.

The book is well written and concise. It's got each tip in a gray box to make it easy to pull out and implement. It may only be 108 pages, but don't let the size fool you. The fluff that exists in most books is stripped away getting you to the bottom line of what the problem is and how to fix it.

It was worth every penny and then some for the value I got out of it. As a small business owner, I am finding that these tips are overlooked by larger websites. That gives me the edge I need on the web and the cost for me to implement all of them was only the cost of the book.

I now know how to do it and why to do it. I was give Liam Scanlan's books-I have them all. He makes it so easy to understand. I am adding a couple of tips a day to my site and the results are almost immediate. I see a jump when I incorporate his tricks. My next door neighbor is a CEO of a large company. He hired Scanlan to do a website and was thrilled at the results. He also gave me his books for a birthday present.

What I did not understand, I now do due to his engaging writing style. Scanlan makes it simple. Where was he years ago when I paid nearly six figures to develop and maintain our company website? I remember that it was so tortured that we could not touch it without throwing off the balance. Here, I won't need to hire anyone-at least for the SEO.

This is one of those times! Web Traffic Magnet was too valuable to only read once. I've begun to put into action the instructions from this book and I am already starting to see the results. I run a question and answer forum about cities and neighborhoods and I am now seeing some of my questions show up on page one of Google search results! The book is very user friendly and easy to understand. I loved it and highly recommend it if you are looking for an understandable way to learn how to drive traffic to your website.

In fact, all I knew how to do was find the right people to design, photograph and write for me since I have owned a design firm for the last 20 years. Then came the day when it was finished, and it hit me, now what?

I bought books on Twitter, and learned it. Ok. I bought books on Facebook, got the hang of that. OK. Figured out Linked In. Fine. But, still...it was nothing. You can tweet all you want and your chirps aren't heard all that often. There was still the mystery of the web...and aptly named so because it really is like getting caught in the spider's web that actually makes little to no sense. I am not even sure the web understands the web.

Relief came to me when I bought Liam Scanlan's Web Traffic Magnet. When I first opened it, I almost fainted when I saw all the new words and ideas to learn. I took it one word at a time, had my highlighter and went through it once. Somewhere along the line a little light went on, and I started to hear sense. So I read it again. WOW, Liam really knows what he's doing, and writes so a newcomer like me can understand.

I simply took his advice, one point at a time, and by some strange magic, my page rank went from N/A to a 5/10 in 4 weeks. I never even heard of page rank a month ago...but it's real.

The thing about the book that I love so much? Besides taking the ouch out of understand the web? It's small enough to fit in my purse so I can review when ever I want. And then there is Liam himself, who will actually help you along if you feel you need him. He stands behind his work.
